Objectives

The GAMES Project is co-financed by the European Commission under the Erasmus+ Programme. This program supports initiatives that promote cooperation and innovation in education, training, and sports across Europe.

This project is a vital step toward addressing gender imbalances in sports governance and ensuring that leadership opportunities are equally accessible to all.
I was a participant in this project through the BOIC (Belgian Olympic and Interfederal Committee) and our Gender Equity Committee.
The GAMES Project (2022–2024) focuses on promoting gender equality in leadership positions within National Olympic Committees (NOCs) across Europe. It is part of the European Union's broader commitment to fostering inclusivity and equality in sports governance.
